Wednesday 3rd March

Good morning wonderful willow… please have a little look at our classroom tour. We’ve changed things around and here’s your chance to have a little look before Monday!

Here is a reminder of our suggested timetable for this week: Term 4 Timetable

Today you can enjoy PE, phonics and handwriting, literacy (Year 1&2) or guided reading (reception), maths and an RE lesson. Don’t forget to keep your eyes wide open for the symbol where you should stop your lesson and lose yourself for 10-15 minutes in a good book! Did you spot it yesterday during literacy, year 1 and 2? Or just after your maths, reception? Where will it be today?

      • Good morning, Evelyn! I bet it was so much fun to spend that time with Nanny. We are so pleased you enjoyed watching the classroom tour- not long until you can come and see it for yourself… 5 more sleeps!

  1. Good morning from Oscar!

And – Thank you for the classroom tour. Will there be one for the new Reception children starting in September? Oscar’s little brother would love that!

    • Good morning, Oscar. So pleased that you enjoyed watching the tour- only 5 more sleeps until you can come and see it for yourself!
Wow, we can’t wait for your little brother to join us in Willow- we will definitely be organising tours!

    • Good morning Ethan! We are so pleased you enjoyed the tour… only 5 more sleeps until you get to see it for yourself!

  2. Good morning from Hector! He loved the tour especially as he spotted the dinosaurs. Few tears when he didn’t see his name on a desk 😬

    • Good morning, Hector!

Hector might remember that the tables in that room are for the Year 1 and 2 children to sit and focus on their written work. We approach the reception children’s learning through a mixture of carpet group work, adult initiated tasks and through play. Next year Hector will be sitting at a desk but for now he has full roam of the room visited first on the tour… the one with all the dinosaurs!
Looking forward to seeing you Hector!
