When practising letter writing, here are some videos that may help your child with letter formation. The children will be familiar with the lesson but they should be encouraged to write ‘big’ letters until they feel ready to write small and concisely on a line.

MathsReception Home Learning Week 8 – You have 4 lessons this week on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. On Tuesday, please just after your maths lesson!

Guided Reading– You have two sessions this week. We suggest completing them on Monday and Wednesday afternoon as you have a live ‘fun and games’ session on Tuesday and a special World Book Day assembly on Thursday. Reception Guided Reading Week 8

Optional Science and RE– Although these lessons are designed to follow the Year 1 & 2 curriculum, they are bound to be lots of fun so please take part if you would like to! This week in science, the children can create a wind turbine! PSHE– this week’s PSHE live zoom lesson will take place on Wednesday at 1:30pm. We hope you can all join us. This week please have a think about what makes you happy? And why does it make you happy? ready to share your thoughts with us.

 

 

WEEK FIVE

Wow… Week 5!

This week, we are introducing a weekly PSHE session live on zoom! This will be held at 2pm every Wednesday (the zoom link will be available in Wednesday’s register) We will use this time to discuss a question linked with our PSHE skills. Click here to find out what your question is this week.

Each day this week, you can do:

A PE session (make sure you use one of these sessions to record your Sports challenge from Mrs King as instructed on the virtual register page- otherwise it’s Joe Wicks on Monday/Wednesday/Friday and Cosmic Kids Yoga on Tuesday/Thursday)
