Reading books

Hello!

As this lockdown is lasting a little longer than originally planned, we have made the decision to create some reading book packs for you and your child to enjoy at home.

You will receive 5 reading books from your child’s current reading book band that you can read until we return to school. We would advise to read one a week and this should last until we are back (fingers crossed!) We do not need the books back until we return to school officially.

If this is something that you are interested in, please email Mrs Delvalle directly. Book packs will then be available for you to collect from school for your child next Friday (5th Feb)

We will only be making book packs for those parents that have requested them. Also, please be understanding that your child may receive a book that they have already read previously, but we cannot track every book that every child has ever taken home.

We hope you and your child will enjoy reading the stories together at home and this practice will support their phonics knowledge too.

Any questions, please just send an email to either class teacher!

Happy Reading! 🙂
